Recent pictures of Portlandatnight had me think about other nighttime pics. This one taken with ye olde iPhone showing the Chicago city street grid I liked. Black-and-white-ized to keep to the monochrome kick we’re on.
The Amur tiger’s natural habitat is in extreme eastern Russia. There were lots of signs in Russian in this area of the zoo. Not sure what it says – maybe “don’t feed the tigers!”?
The Christmas tree was installed yesterday in Monument Square, with the help of a really big crane. The official lighting is on Friday, November 25 at 5:30pm!
