Recent pictures of Portland at night had me think about other nighttime pics. This one taken with ye olde iPhone showing the Chicago city street grid I liked. Black-and-white-ized to keep to the monochrome kick we’re on.

I still just like the light.

I couldn’t help thinking about the people sitting at the windows of the plane as it descended into the city thinking all the mundane thoughts about things they have to do people think of and about the people behind the windows in the buildings in the city beneath them thinking similarly mundane thoughts about things that they needed to do.

I liked the light too.
