Yeah, that is what the park’s called.

The benches are in disrepair, but the park has a good view down the peninsula, including Portland’s Downtown and Bayside neighborhoods.

The plowed out road on the left is actually the old railroad bed. I believe it’s to be made an extension of the trail running through Bayside from the Eastern Promenade.

Perhaps Century Tire, or Century Tire’s landlord, will allow pedestrian access to and from the trail. Trader Joe’s landlord does not. They should. I’m thinking of the Trader Joe’s in Arlington, Massachusetts with its access to the Minuteman Trail/Bikeway.

From breakfast this morning. We (finally!) used a gift card we’d gotten. It was set to expire February 1st.
