The Jewel of the Seas is the big white boat on the left. Or ship. Not certain about the sea-faring terminology. But, it’s parallel parked alongside Ocean Gateway.

Yes, the scaffolding alone is pretty impressive.

The benches are in disrepair, but the park has a good view down the peninsula, including Portland’s Downtown and Bayside neighborhoods.

If you look closely you’ll see the two bored monument guides sitting on the bench outside the door completely unaware that the obelisk’s about to tumble on to their heads. Scary!

The blue sky too is completely Photoshopped and was added to cheer up people stuck under the never ending overcast skies and rain. Enjoy!
